   I would first give part to my church and buy each of my friends and family a car of their choice. Would probably invest some of it and buy a nice ranch in Colorado so my kids can have horses. i would also pay off my parents house and their debt. They have done a lot for me.

   Wow! What a question. I think I would start off paying off bills and then set up trusts for different family members and then I would decide what cause I wanted to devote a big chunk of the money to. It would be either literacy or feeding the hungry but I would want to know that I was doing something positive with the money.

   The first thing I'd do is donate a lot of it to Make a Wish because of how good they were to my daughter when she had bone cancer at seven.. She's very healthy today. And I thank the Good Lord above for that. I'd also give to my each of my 7 children and help pay off a lot of family member's debts. But the best thing would be to go on a very long vacation. Also a lot of investing for my children.

   Take care of my family, let my husband retire; then donate to a lot of good causes, but I would do so anonymously, so I would not be hounded by ten billion greedy requests. A billion dollars could do a world of good if used wisely.

   I have a whole list that I've been toying with over the years:

Take a 'round-the-world cruise.

Build a "green" community where all my extended family could live so that they could take the money they spend on rent now, invest it and grow their own futures.

Setup my own grant program to help out charities that I like.

African safaris...you know the kind where you rough it for a few days, then get to go back to the lodge and the spa treatments. (Hey, you gotta relieve those giant bug bites somehow.)

A big party for the whole family. I'm thinking Hawaiian cruise, that way they all have room and food and entertainment taken care of. And, who doesn't like Hawaii?

There's more, but reality calls and my twin toddlers just hurled food against the wall.

   What a fun fantasy! I would take my family on a cruise of the Greek Isles, buy a new car, update my old house decor, give money to the church and to family members, and save any left for retirement.

i would finish my education and go back to my home country which is Guyana in South America, and open my own pediatric hospital.

   I would pay off my parents' house, and cars. My Mother in law's as well, so she doesnt have to worry about anything. My dad would have his horses' care all paid for. The rest I would put aside, after paying off my car payment, and buying myself a house, something that is comfy, I don't need anything too big. I would also make sure to donate to charities, a kids hospital, or our local Safe Nest program, against domestic violence.

   For Others: I would create a perpetual trust fund for donations to my local high school's scholarship for young mothers (to also cover child care while attending classes/studying; donations to the disabled community in my area, and the local shelters; and family assistance.

For me: Since I already have a nice ranch house I would finish its renovations; pay off my bills; take a small vacation with a friend and my daughters/daughter-in-law; update my rather tired/expired wardrobe; put new tires on my car; find out how I can help my children and grandchildren.
